I'm no snorkeling expert, but I've been a few times, and I've always used rental equipment in past.This Cressi set is great. I had no problems with water leaking into my mask. Every so often, a few drops would get in, but I always discovered I'd allowed my hair to get between the mask and my face. Removing the hair solved my problem. I've a female with a narrow face. The snorkel was good quality with some kind of device on the end to help prevent water from splashing in.The flippers were good as well. I have Size 8.5 (women's) feet, so I got the size 7 - 8. The flippers were a tad on the large size but acceptable. If you have size 8 (women's) or less, I'd go with the next size down.Many complained about the bag, so I treated it with care and didn't have any trouble with it ripping.
